Despite hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of people live in big cities, there are myriad moments every single day when there is no one around.
For many years, I have walked through cities and amidst their streets, capturing these moments and preserving them as small postcards from an imaginary land of eternal calmness where time no longer exists. Where the Langoliers are getting closer.
